A look at where we spent our nights while in Croatia.
***
Home is...two nights in Trogir with a wonderful Warm Showers host. {Night one in our tent in the front yard.}
{When it started raining, he insisted we spend our second night in the upstairs apartment his family owned. This view was from the bed!}
***
Home is...two nights on Vis island.
{Night one: getting awoken by an early morning jogger.}
{Night two: falling asleep in the midst of a crazy lightning storm.}
***
Home is...two days of swimming in the bay and taking advantage of a nearby hotel's wifi signal in an apartment with the best view on Lastovo island.
***
Home is...seaside camping our last night on Lastovo island.
***
Home is...just inside a stone wall on Korcula island.
***
Home is...a night at a "bed and breakfast" on Korcula island.
(Apparently we had to pay an extra $5 when we checked in to qualify for breakfast.)
***
Home is...our first garden hose shower and waking up with severe heat exhaustion at this place in Mikulici.
{We met two bike tourists from Germany who ended up camping right next to us.}

is that Rices Flea Market?
How hard is it to pedal carrying that plastic chair?
Ginny was over last night
She was in great mood
Ooh, I forgot about Rices! Great to hear about Ginny. See you guys just as soon as we can.
The Germans were probably urbanites, city people don’t understand boundaries. Are you going to share more about your heat exhaustion? Today was the Bear notch ride with the city people from Boston, it was hell, Franconia was the warmest part of the ride!
Shared! Check the latest post! That ride sounds terrible. Justin said he’s glad he wasn’t home because he would have ridden it with you. 😉
